Illustrated Map Design for Golden Lagoon

Golden Lagoon is a large-scale multifunctional complex located in Tserovani, bringing together accommodation, leisure, dining, events, sports and entertainment facilities within a single destination.

Idea Design Group was commissioned to develop an illustrated map of the entire complex, translating Golden Lagoon’s extensive and diverse territory into a cohesive, accessible and visually engaging format.

Based on the approximate spatial layout of the property, the map incorporates all major functional areas of the complex, including the hotel and cottages, event hall, swimming pool, restaurants, wedding and children’s areas, sports facilities, camping area, orangery, fishing zone, parking and other visitor facilities.

Particular attention was given to preserving the visual character of the actual environment and its individual elements. Buildings, landscaped areas, pathways, pools and functional zones were carefully represented through custom graphic illustrations, while a clear numbering and legend system was developed to support intuitive visitor orientation.

The result is an informative and visually distinctive illustrated site map that combines practical wayfinding with graphic storytelling, presenting the scale, diversity and character of Golden Lagoon through a unified visual language.
