Youth of Poti and Khobi municipalities as digital ambassadors

9 July 2026

The training of the first cohorts of young volunteers of the "Digital Ambassadors Program" has been successfully completed

The first two-day training of the “Digital Ambassadors Program” youth group successfully concluded at the Poti Youth Hub, which brought together motivated young people from Poti and Khobi municipalities.

During the training, participants improved their knowledge in digital technologies, effective information processing and use, artificial intelligence, digital security, and online collaboration. Theoretical sessions were combined with practical activities, which gave young people the opportunity to test their acquired knowledge on real-world tasks.

In the final part of the program, participants worked in teams to create small information campaigns. They developed ideas, prepared and presented their own works, thus once again demonstrating their creativity, teamwork skills, and innovative vision.

After the successful completion of the training, all participants were awarded a “Digital Ambassador” certificate. However, the program does not end there — now they will start sharing the knowledge they have gained and promoting digital technologies in their schools, communities and friendship circles, in order to help even more young people develop digital skills.

The “Digital Ambassadors Program” aims to empower young people and teachers, develop digital competencies and promote their active involvement in the sustainable development of local communities.

The project is implemented by the organization Idea Design Group within the framework of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) “Green Future, Rights and Stability” project, which is funded by the Government of Denmark.
