EMME Mid-Term Assembly was held on 31 March – 2 April 2011 in Amman (Jordan)
EMME (Earthquake Model of the Middle East Region) is an international project aiming at the assessment of seismic hazard, the associated risk in terms of structural damages, casualties and economic losses and also at the evaluation of the effects of relevant mitigation measures in the Middle East region.
Experts of Idea Design Group support the Institute of Geophysics of Tbilisi State University in GIS and computational tasks in EMME project. On the Mid-Term Assembly results of inventory of all required GIS data for Georgia was presented.
Classification of Georgian buildings and different vulnerability parameters were discussed. Georgian team was offered assist the development of GIS databases for EMME participant countries. Head of Department of Architecture of Tbilisi was participating in the meeting and provided full support from Tbilisi City Hall for in-field data collection works in Tbilisi.
On March 27, 2024, the office of the Tbilisi Bureau of Special Affairs of the Legal Aid Service (LAS) hosted the Tajik government delegation.
On the first of December in the current year, the Legal Aid Service of Georgia held a presentation for their updated legal case management system, Case Bank 8.0.
